$3,100,000 Automobile – Wrongful Death

Federal court jury verdict for the family of a teenager killed by a speeding ambulance. The ambulance was traveling 81 mph in a 60 mph speed zone on a non-emergency run without any flashing lights or sirens, when it ran a red light at an intersection and struck the teenager’s vehicle. The United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit affirmed the verdict on appeal, following oral argument.
