The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration states that “every day, almost 29 people in the United States die in alcohol-impaired vehicle crashes.” In fact, “drunk-driving crashes claim more than 10,000 lives per year.” With over 1,000 deaths related to drunk driving from 2011 to 2015 in Alabama, communities are continuously working to educate and prevent these accidents. Here are the specifics to this program: the rides are only permitted within the Huntsville metropolitan area and Barry’s Towing will only take you home (not to another location.)
