Megan Miller

Paralegal

Megan Miller joined the talented team of personal injury paralegals at the law firm of Morris, King & Hodge, P.C., in 2022. Megan graduated high school in Auburn, and decided to pursue education at The University of Alabama, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2014. While in college, Megan was part of the Alpha Delta Chi sorority, serving as recruitment chair and executive board secretary.

When asked what she loves most about her job, Megan responded, “It’s cliche, but I love helping people. Wrecks are scary, and I’m always grateful to be a source of knowledge and comfort for clients who may not be able to get medical assistance and monetary relief otherwise.”

Megan said she is grateful for the welcome she received when she started working at Morris, King & Hodge, P.C. “I love how committed everyone is to their work, but how the firm also promotes bonding among staff through team events and celebrations,” she said.

Megan previously worked in journalism for a few years before her curiosity about the legal field got the better of her. She’s worked in personal injury law ever since.

Megan brings five years of experience from firms of various sizes in Birmingham and, most recently, north Alabama. While in Birmingham, Megan combined two of her life’s passions – philanthropy and dance – to participate in Dancing with the Stars of the Magic City for two years. She choreographed a dance piece with a local “star” to perform and raise funds for First Light Shelter.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys reading, dancing, going out for brunch, and playing with her three dogs, Beaux, Tenley, and Archie.
